Tara Pearce is an Australian Creative Director and Consciousness Practitioner with over 15 years of experience creating distinctive visual worlds for brands, publications and people. Her practice spans creative direction, photography, visual storytelling and consciousness, exploring the relationship between creativity, perception and inner experience.

Known for her distinctive visual language and sensitivity to atmosphere, emotion and place, Tara translates ideas and identities into transportive visual experiences, bringing an artistic perspective to both personal and commissioned work.

Moving between creative direction, image-making, brand and space, Tara takes an intuitive approach to uncovering the deeper narrative within an idea, identity or place. Each project becomes its own world, shaped by its people, environment and story.

Over time, Tara’s exploration of perception extended beyond the visual and into consciousness, awareness and inner experience. This now forms another dimension of her practice, creating space for deeper inquiry and exploring the ways our inner world shapes how we see, create and experience the world around us.

Tara is also the founder of Women of Mycelia, House of Sol and The Modern Psychonaut, independent projects exploring different expressions of creativity, consciousness and human experience. Previously, she co-founded and led ERIN & TARA, a photography studio and creative agency she directed for over a decade.

Across everything she does is an ongoing curiosity about the relationship between the visible, the felt and the worlds we create around us.
