TARA PEARCE
Tara is an Australian-based creative director and visual artist, with an independent practice that explores the intersection of creativity, consciousness, and connection. Known for her grounded yet evocative approach to storytelling, she brings a distinct eye for atmosphere and an intuitive understanding of human emotion. She has a rare sensitivity for translating the unseen into felt visual experience, bridging artistry and intention in equal measure.
Her work moves fluidly between creative direction, visual storytelling, and photography, guided by a desire to reveal the deeper story behind a brand, a place, or a moment. Tara’s process is thoughtful and immersive, often beginning with listening to people, to space, and to what wants to emerge, allowing each project to take form with clarity and purpose.
Her approach prioritises presence, subtlety, and emotional resonance. With a considered and attentive approach, she allows projects to evolve rather than be imposed, creating outcomes that feel grounded and quietly expressive across both artistic and commissioned work.
Her portfolio spans visual campaigns, brand worlds, and editorial storytelling, with work created for and featured in publications and platforms including Vogue, MECCA,Harper’s Bazaar, The New York Times, BELLE Magazine, ArchDaily, Tatler Magazine, ELLE Magazine, Vue De Monde, Dermalogica, Dumbo Feather, Food & Wine, Hardie Grant, West Elm, Smegand The Design Files.
Alongside her creative practice, Tara is the founder of House of Sol, The Modern Psychonaut and Women of Mycelia, and was formerly the visionary founder and director of Erin & Tara, an international photography studio and creative agency she led for over a decade before closing in 2023 and expanding her practice into new forms of creative and human connection.
